This beach, located just a few minutes from the west of Puerto Plata, is named after Roberto Cofresi, the famous Puerto Rican pirate. In addition to being a lovely place to sunbathe and relax, the water offers great possibilities for bodysurfing and boogie boarding on its restless waves.

Besides the beauty of this cove of crystal clear water surrounded by beautiful coconut palms, Playa Cofresi is also an interesting option due to its proximity to Ocean World, one of the country's best water parks, and El Sombrero, a pool complex with playgrounds and leisure space.
