Lucea is a picturesque coastal town characterised by its colourful wooden houses with big porches and its very Caribbean style. The historic centre of Lucea has several eighteenth century buildings of great historical and tourist value.

Highly recommended, among others, are the buildings of Fort Charlotte, the clock tower and the Church of Hanover.

You should not miss the opportunity to visit the local market where you will find the area's agricultural products and all kinds of traditional Jamaican craft items.
